Princípe story gate & island sweep

Reach the island first; let the live marker choose each task

Treat Princípe as a gated return, not a coordinate hunt. Sequence 09 Mission 02, Trust is Earned, is the access threshold; 939, 415 is the white-P return point on the main map. The island's three ordinary chests and its dock-awning outfit Secret are different checks.

  1. 01

Before the voyage · story gate

    Do next

Check the active objective for Sequence 09 Mission 02, Trust is Earned, before planning a Princípe cleanup. The route notes place access during or after this memory.

    Check the story route
    Result to check

The story has reached the gate and the current save offers the island route; a missing return before then is an access state, not a missing pickup.

If this does not match your save

If Princípe is not available, record the active sequence and continue the story. Do not sail around the main-map number looking for the island or infer that a collectible vanished.

  2. 02

Return · white P on the main map

    Do next

After the gate, choose the white P on the main map to return to Princípe. Use 939, 415 only to identify this map-return anchor; it is not a chest, awning, or collectible coordinate.

    Open Princípe map checks
    Result to check

The selected map destination opens Princípe. Keep the island's live pickup markers as the only item-level locators.

If this does not match your save

If the white P is absent, recheck the story stage and current map state before searching nearby islands. If it is available, select the icon rather than entering 939, 415 into an item search.

  3. 03

Local pass · three ordinary chests

    Do next

Use the island's active Chest markers to check three separate anchors: inside a small hut, on top of a small building, and inside one tent. This list groups the money chests; it does not assign a chest to 939, 415.

    Filter Princípe pickups
    Result to check

Each of the three chest markers has its own open/result state in the current map; one opened chest does not close the other two.

If this does not match your save

If the island still shows an open chest, compare its marker with the hut, building-top, and tent anchors before repeating the whole island sweep. Read the actual reward before filing it under another pickup family.

  4. 04

Same visit · tent and moving sheet

    Do next

The tent also has a Bartholomew Roberts portrait, while the song sheet starts from a beam and moves after approach. Keep both as separate checks rather than assuming a tent chest or song chase clears the other.

    Check song-sheet routes
    Result to check

Use the portrait's own collection state and the song's named unlock; neither is proof of a money chest or of the outfit Secret.

If this does not match your save

If the song sheet moves before you are ready, use its current marker and a safe visible landing to resume; do not assume a fixed flight path from the starting beam.

  5. 05

    Separate Secret · dock awning

    Do next

Officer's Outfit is the island's one Secret on a small awning at the docks. Use its dedicated route for the approach; this location sweep deliberately does not guess an exact awning coordinate or climb sequence.

    Follow the outfit Secret route
    Result to check

Officer's Outfit appears by name in the outfit inventory and the current Princípe Secret state agrees. Ordinary money chests are not outfit proof.

If this does not match your save

If the outfit is still missing after opening a chest, return to the dock Secret marker and check the named inventory result. Preserve any route difference in the current save instead of substituting another island number.

Before you leaveLeave with separate notes for story access, three ordinary chests, the tent portrait, the moving beam-start song sheet, and the dock-awning outfit Secret. Close only the family whose own marker or named reward changed.

Route Plan

Story gate → white-P return → family check

Use Princípe as a story-gated island sweep. Reach it during or after Sequence 09 Mission 02, Trust is Earned; the white P at 939, 415 is the main-map return point, not a chest or outfit coordinate. Once there, separate the hut, small-building-top and tent money chests from the dock-awning Officer's Outfit Secret, the tent portrait and the beam-start song sheet. Use the current markers and named results as your completion checks.

  1. Check the active story stage first: Princípe is only reachable during or after Sequence 09 Mission 02, Trust is Earned.
  2. When returning, select the white P on the main map; 939, 415 identifies that island return, not an item pickup.
  3. Sweep the three ordinary chest anchors as a family: inside a small hut, atop a small building, and inside a tent. Do not assign the island-return number to any chest.
  4. Before leaving, reconcile the tent portrait, the beam-start moving song sheet, and the separate dock-awning outfit Secret by their own names and current markers.

A map return is not a pickup pin

A map return is not a pickup pin

The island label solves the travel-back problem; it does not locate any one of Princípe's chests or Secrets.

  • Reach the Sequence 09 Mission 02 gate before treating an unavailable return as a collectible issue.
  • Select the white P on the main map; use 939, 415 as the return-map anchor only.
  • For pickup searches, choose the current family marker and its island landmark instead of reusing the return number.

Finish by family, not by island name

Finish by family, not by island name

Several Princípe tasks share one visit but have different proof: ordinary chest markers, a portrait, a moving song sheet, and one outfit Secret.

  • The three ordinary chest anchors are hut, small-building top, and tent; the outfit is not one of those chests.
  • If only Officer's Outfit remains, use the dock-awning route instead of reopening every money chest.
  • If only the song remains, follow the active sheet marker from its beam start; a completed chest count cannot stand in for a song unlock.

Common Questions

When can I return to Princípe?

Current Resynced route notes place access during or after Sequence 09 Mission 02, Trust is Earned. Check the active story objective first; after the gate, use the white P on the main map to return.

Is 939, 415 the coordinate for a Princípe chest or outfit?

No. 939, 415 identifies the white-P island return on the main map. It is not a proved chest or Officer's Outfit pickup point; use the current Princípe marker for the individual item.

Are Princípe's three chests the same pickup as Officer's Outfit?

No. The ordinary money chests are listed in a small hut, on top of a small building and inside a tent. Officer's Outfit is the separate one-Secret pickup on a small dock awning; verify the outfit by name and use its dedicated route.

What should I record before leaving Princípe?

Track each family separately: the three ordinary chest anchors, the tent portrait, the moving song sheet that starts from a beam, and the dock-awning outfit Secret. A completed chest check does not prove the portrait, song or outfit result.
