Isla Providencia · two-stone route

Two viewpoints lead to two different pillars

Marooned opens Isla Providencia, where two separate pillars sit below the western viewpoint and atop ruins below the northern one. Use 485, 22 only as an island anchor; the nearby 487, 11 point belongs to a separate Nassau-map treasure dig.

  1. Check island access

    Do this

Plan this island during or after Sequence 08 Mission 03, “Marooned”. Use 485, 22 only to recognize the island area; before the story gate, an unreachable destination is not proof of a lost pillar marker.

    Check the story route
    Look for

Isla Providencia is reachable in the current story map.

    If it does not work

If the island is unavailable, return to the active Sequence 08 objective. Do not sail to the nearby 487, 11 Nassau-map dig as a substitute; keep both stelae pending until the story map opens the island.

  2. Western viewpoint stone

    Do this

Use the western viewpoint to find its separate stela pillar below. Solve the white-line floor pattern shown by that live interaction and collect the revealed Mayan Stone; this is one of the island's two pickups.

    Show Isla Providencia markers
    Look for

One Mayan Stone is recorded; the island can still show one stela unfinished.

    If it does not work

If this pickup is already recorded and the local count is 1/2, leave the western pillar and use the northern ruins for the other interaction.

  3. Northern ruin stone

    Do this

Below the northern viewpoint, climb onto the ruins to find the other pillar. Follow its own visible floor pattern instead of assuming the western puzzle uses the same camera angle.

    Check the 2/2 stone chain
    Look for

The second Mayan Stone is collected and the island's stela check reads 2/2.

    If it does not work

If the island remains at 1/2, compare your saved pickup with the two landmarks: western viewpoint below versus northern viewpoint ruin-top. The 487, 11 dig is a different treasure-map result, not a Mayan Stone.

Before you leaveLeave after collecting the western and northern stones and checking the island's 2/2 result. Keep 485, 22 as the island anchor and the nearby 487, 11 dig on the Nassau treasure-map route.

Route Plan

Marooned → western pillar → northern ruins → 2/2

During or after Sequence 08 Mission 03, Marooned, use the live map to find the stela below the western viewpoint and the other on ruins below the northern viewpoint. 485, 22 identifies the island only; the nearby 487, 11 point is the Nassau warehouse map's separate Governor's Outfit dig, not a pillar.

  1. Confirm Sequence 08 Mission 03: Marooned before treating Isla Providencia as reachable; use 485, 22 as an area anchor only.
  2. Below the western viewpoint, follow that pillar's active pattern and collect its separate Mayan Stone; if the save reaches 1/2, do not repeat this site.
  3. Climb onto the ruins below the northern viewpoint and collect the other stone. Verify 2/2; keep the 487, 11 Nassau-map dig outside this count.

Marooned Gate

Marooned Gate

Access and collection are separate states, and two close map coordinates belong to different jobs.

  • Check Sequence 08 Mission 03, “Marooned”, before setting a return voyage.
  • 485, 22 identifies Isla Providencia as an island area, not either pillar's exact position.
  • 487, 11 is the southern-shore dig lead for the Nassau warehouse treasure map and Governor's Outfit, not a Mayan Stela marker.
  • Keep both stones pending until the two viewpoint anchors are reachable.

West Below Viewpoint

West Below Viewpoint

The first pillar belongs below the western viewpoint, not to the northern ruin cluster.

  • Use the western viewpoint to orient the lower route, then find its own stela interaction.
  • Solve against the visible white-line floor rocks; no exact camera angle is assumed for this pillar.
  • Collect its revealed Mayan Stone; if the save shows 1/2, move to the north-side ruin instead of repeating this pillar.

North Ruin-Top

North Ruin-Top

The second pillar is on ruins below the northern viewpoint, a separate climb and proof point.

  • Climb onto the ruins under the northern viewpoint, then use the stela interaction there.
  • Use this pillar if the western pickup is already recorded; its puzzle angle is not specified by the route reference.
  • Do not count the nearby chest, manuscript, or 487, 11 treasure-map dig as the second stone.
  • Confirm both Mayan Stones and the island's 2/2 result before leaving.

Common Questions

When can I reach Isla Providencia's Mayan Stelae?

Isla Providencia becomes reachable during or after Sequence 08 Mission 03, “Marooned”. Check that story stage before treating an absent island route as a missing collectible.

Where are the two Isla Providencia pillars?

One is below the western viewpoint. The other is on top of ruins below the northern viewpoint. Treat them as separate alignments and collect a Mayan Stone from each.

Why does my island stela progress still show 1/2?

Compare which viewpoint supplied the stone you already collected, then check the other pillar. A nearby chest, manuscript or treasure map does not count as the second Mayan Stone.

Is 485, 22 or 487, 11 a Mayan Stela coordinate?

Neither is an exact pillar pin. 485, 22 is an Isla Providencia area anchor; 487, 11 belongs to the separate Nassau warehouse treasure-map dig for Governor's Outfit. Use the stela marker to reach the western viewpoint pillar or northern ruin-top pillar.
