Match the left tree, not the waterfall treasure

The Matanzas stela clue is a pillar alignment: put the largest circle on the tree to the left and collect the stone location it reveals. The Tortuga map's waterfall chest is a different job nearby on the island route.

  1. Choose the stela marker

    Do this

    Use Matanzas's current map and select the Mayan Stela interaction. The 302, 620 coordinate labels the island area; the 312, 617 lead is for a separate waterfall dig, not a pillar position.

    You reach the climbable stela pillar and can open its active alignment puzzle.

    If it does not work

    If 312, 617 takes you to the waterfall chest, check which marker is active and return to the stela pillar. The Tortuga treasure clue does not locate or count the Mayan Stone.

  2. Set the large-circle anchor

    Do this

    Climb onto the pillar and line up the largest circle with the tree on the left. Use that tree as the landmark anchor for this puzzle; follow the live alignment feedback for any remaining adjustment.

    If it does not work
