Treasure route
Every treasure map needs three checks
Use each entry as a clue pickup, dig location, and reward check before leaving the region.
Clue to reward
Use the treasure flow before sailing
A treasure map route is strongest when the clue, coordinate, reward, and nearby cleanup all line up.
| Step | Player check | Do next |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Clue pickup | Confirm where the clue starts or which activity gives the map | Open Map if the place name is unclear |
| 2. Dig route | Mark the coordinate, landmark, or nearby location | Do not sail until the region matches your save |
| 3. Reward | Check whether the buried chest gives money, crafting value, or an elite plan | Open Jackdaw Upgrades if ship power changes |
| 4. Nearby cleanup | Look for viewpoints, chests, fragments, or location checks around the same route | Clear nearby markers before leaving |
| 5. Mismatch recovery | If the marker or clue does not match, recheck the current build | Use the entry as a route hint, not final proof |
